my husband aquired this case and its contents including the sword in palo alto where he worked which was a retirement community called channing house which catered to mostly doctors and professors at stanford university. they were given to him by someone before they past away,about 10 years ago. my husband just past this last july. the sword is in very good condition, the case is worn,ruff condition the assories are in fair condition. there is a lot of history behind this maker, mr. frank henderson who made this for donald mc call
